You asked for other opinions about the three bombs going off before the Rapture. Here is the original quote:The Lord revealed to me three major events that are about to happen. He first of all revealed to me that the rapture will take place on the Sabbath day, the 7th day of July 2007. I was amazed at the number 777 but then I realised that the Lord wants everybody to know exactly what has happened. He later told me to read Genesis 7:7: And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood. In Matthew 24: 37-39 Jesus says: But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
The Lord also revealed to me two events that will take place in June as a sign that this word is true. The first sign will be the outbreak of World War 3 on 16 June 2007. This will be sparked by three atom bombs that will be set off in the USA by radical Muslims. The second sign will be a major earthquake that will hit the west coast of the USA on 19 June 2007. The Lord told me that very little people will take this serious but that I do not need to defend myself because the signs will speak on my behalf.
I would have to agree with Elliot's statement that the world would not be in a state of peace and safety if three atomic bombs are set off in the US. That has never happened and even the attacks of Sept 11 would pale in comparison. One could hardly refer to that period as one of peace and safety when people were terrified by what were explained as terrorist attacks by airplanes. Atomic bombs would be devastating and the consequences would be much more far-reaching than a local plane crash. The writer also mentions a major earthquake that will hit the west coast. This has also never happened, but we witnessed the chaos that ensued when the 1989 Loma Prieta 6.9 quake occurred. There were about 60 deaths and 3800 injured during this event which left a huge mess in the freeway with double decks collapsing. We have recently experienced the devastation of another natural disaster with the destruction caused by hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The damage from these storms has still not been completely repaired several years later. If a major earthquake were to destroy a large part of the west coast, not just an isolated area, then the destruction would be massive. This, coupled with the three atomic bomb explosions, would hardly constitute a time period of peace and safety. During the above-mentioned natural disasters the news media were fond of using the terms "Biblical proportions" ,"apocryphal", "endtimes", "cataclysmic", etc, and one can only imagine the many people who thought the end of the world had arrived. If those times were pale in comparison to the chaos these other prophesied events were to produce, then the entire globe would be considering that the end of the world had arrived and would not be living in normal times.I am always skeptical of these so-called prophets who claim the Lord revealed some very specific, date- setting events to them. I would say that if the Lord revealed the same exact events to more than two of His servants the prophets, especially if these prophets were of the tribes of Israel, then we could take notice.Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.Amos 3:7
at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.
Deut. 19:15And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.Joel 2:28-32This passage in Joel is given for the time when the day of the Lord has come, and the events that are taking place would be after the rapture. So if this prophet has claimed that the catastrophes are happening on given dates, I would expect the rapture would have already taken place, not afterwards. If these dates come and go and the prophecies do not come to pass, then we can dismiss this person as a false prophet and never pay attention to them again. It is a good thing that we no longer stone false prophets, or these people would shut up.If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him. Deut. 18:22When all this comes true - and it surely will - then they will know that a prophet has been among them. Ezek. 33:33
But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. Deut. 18:2
