"That great divide ... 'the Rapture'."

Shalom dear doves,

What is the rapture, if not 'a great divide' ?

Jer 17:10  I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins,
even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the
fruit of his doings.

Yes, the Lord, even now is sifting our hearts to see if we do really
love and trust Him, and so do desire to please Him in living for ALL
His purposes?

But the Lord knows ...

Jer 17:9  The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately
wicked: who can know it?

But not all believe Him ...  2Th 3:2  ... all men have not faith.

But hasn't the Great Shepherd revealed His heart towards His sheep
that go astray?

Mt 18:12  How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of
them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth
into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?

Lu 15:4  What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of
them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go
after that which is lost, until he find it?

And hasn't Jesus revealed The Father's heart towards His prodigal son's?

Lu 15:20  ...  when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him,
and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

And also ... revealed to us, the heart of the brother, at that time?

Lu 15: 28  ... he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his
father out, and intreated him.

So, ...  is the 'rapture',  ALSO,  a great divide, ...

that might expose some hardness of heart towards our brethren ...
before we are intreated of The Father,  to 'go in'?

Remember, we are instructed, ' ... the dead in Christ rise first.'

1Th 4:16  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the
dead in Christ shall rise first:

It is those who quench the grace of the Holy Spirit that will miss out
entirely, for Jesus well warns us:

Mr 3:28  Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the
sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
Mr 3:29  But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never
forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:

So we would do well to agree with the apostle:

Ga 2:21  I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness
come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Shalom shalom,

David
