"What the Lord has promised:"

Shalom dear doves,

What has our Lord promised?

Joh 6:37  All that the Father giveth me shall come to me;
and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

Joh 6:39  And this is the Father's will which hath sent me,
that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing,
but should raise it up again at the last day.

Heb 13:5.6

Let your conversation[life/living] be without covetousness;
and be content with such things as ye have:
for he hath said,

   I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

So that we may boldly say,

   The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

So ... how then, does this work?

1Sa 12:22  For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great
name's sake: because it hath pleased the LORD to make you his people.

Isa 54:10  For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed;
but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant
of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.

Jer 31:33 ... I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in
their hearts;
and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Jer 32:40,41 ... I will not turn away from them, to do them good;
but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.
Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good ...

Ho 2:23  ... I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy;
and I will say to them which were not my people,

   Thou art my people;

and they shall say,

   Thou art my God.

Ho 6:6  For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of
God more than burnt offerings.

Mic 7:18  Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and
passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he
retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.

Mt 9:13  But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and
not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to
repentance.

Mt 12:7  But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and
not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.

Mt 23:23  Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay
tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier
matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have
done, and not to leave the other undone.

Ro 9:16  So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that
runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

Ro 11:30  For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now
obtained mercy through their unbelief:
Ro 11:31  Even so have these also now not believed, that through your
mercy they also may obtain mercy.

2Co 4:1  Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received
mercy, we faint not;

Heb 8:8  For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come,
saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of
Israel and with the house of Judah:

Heb 8:13  In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first
old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

Heb 12:24  ... Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, ... the blood
of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Shalom shalom,

David
