"Inattentive and indifferent"

I am seeing this attitude among Christians when we talk about the Last Days being upon us.  I have tried to warn and to remind people that the grocery stores only have 3 days supply of groceries and if there is a disruption in the shipments, not to mention the inevitable run on the stores, there will be serious shortages of food and supplies.  I have tried to liken it to getting ready for a blizzard or a hurricane.  Just make sure you have enough for 3-5 days and hope services will be restored.

Most people have the idea, if it's going to happen, it will happen and nothing I do is going to stop it.  That is the end of discussion.

Think about the prophecies we have been hearing over the past couple of years and look at the direcion things are taking.  Is there any doubt in anyone's mind that we have dodged the bullet successsfully since 911?  If you know the hurricanes coming or the blizzard will drop temperatures, most people rush around and try to prepare - extra blankets, extra food, extra water for drinking.  Except for the Mormons who always have 7 years of supplies, most people are just in total denial.

People have been looking for Him since His Ascent and He hasn't come back yet.  For years I have been trying to tell folks that the "circles" of history are getting tighter and tighter.  Things are happening quicker.  Not as much time between major events.  They just shrug and remind me we have always had these events and point back in history to similar things.

Truly, it is as in the days of Noah and people are too busy with their lives to pay attention to all that is happeing around them that is fulfilled prophecy.

Just my tw-cents worth.
