If anyone has any tips on how best to grow the above
successfully I would be very happy.

There is a very good book, in paperback, called "Square Foot
Gardening" by Mel Bartholomew. You can get it on Amazon.com for around
twelve dollars.
I highly recommend this book for beginners or city dwellers with small
lots. It tells you how to grow a small vegetable garden with no chemicals. How
to space your plantings so you don't end up with a thousand pounds of squash at
one time. <g> And other tips for those of us horticultural-ly
challenged.
I, too, have a need to clean out, clear out, give and throw away things.
I've always been fairly organized but just want to rid myself of unnecessary
stuff and have a clean and orderly home.
I've lost interest in things that used to bring me pleasure with my home,
decorating, gardening and entertaining. Now I want it clean, organized and
a bit spare. I thought it was just me.
I pray, too, that my little pets will not be left behind.
God bless,
Loni
