"Is a piece of the puzzle
missing?"
Hello John. Just a small contribution for the doves to
work on....
I'm not really a dream buff although I do like the idea
of having one that's astounding and worth sharing. On that note I will
share a dream I had which I am quite "puzzled" about...
I had gone to pick up my youngest daughter from the library
(she was participating in some event or other). The library was about to
close and I noticed a puzzle on the display table that my daughter had
contributed. The puzzle was a wooden stack up kind and was about the story
of the 'princess and the pea'. You placed the base of the bed on the table,
then put the small pea on top and proceeded to add several layers of different
coloured mattresses to it, ending with the princess on top. Now for those
of you who can't remember the story it's about a prince about to marry
a bride picked out by his father. However, none are suitable until the
arrival of a princess in the night. In order to test her authenticity he
places a pea under her mattress (I can't actually remember why!!). Over
the next few nights she develops bumps and bruises and asks for more mattresses
to be added to even out the 'bump'.... Back to the dream, I searched
but could not find the pea! I told the librarian the pea was missing
but she was unconcerned and dismissed it as of 'little' consequence. I
didn't think she was a very bright librarian because it was vital the pea
was there as it was an integral part of the story,. Anyway that's it. Anyone
have any ideas? I can make a guess at some of the things but I know some
of you are brilliant at this sort of thing.
Oh by the way Ellen, I recently found out we have Jewish
connections on my husbands side of the family too. As a part of the 'one
man' I know it's of little matter but it sure is nice to know.
