to Tony Ellsworth re: pleiades, stars,
great ox
Thank you Tony,,,very thought provoking article you have
written about the gospel in the stars........
http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/may2007/tonye510-7.htm
While reading your letter it
occurred to me that when you said the pleiades were located at the shoulder
of the ox (taurus bull), that our Lord said "take my yoke upon you, and
learn of me, and ye shall find rest...".....
Indeed, then, these stars at the bull's neck are "yoked" to the ox !
Love it !
Also, in one of the letters to the seven churches, our
Lord says "I will remove your candlestick, etc.",,,,and the pleiades, which
is made up of seven main stars with some minor ones, indeed, has one of
its stars that has lost its glitter and is "dying", and called also "ready
to die".....wow.....
You said also that the pleiades were called doves (but of course, John!),,,,and
in the Song of Solomon, the Schulamite's beloved says that she has "eyes
of a dove"......
The season
of taurus, I think, ends on May 21.
Lord Jesus, teach us more and more of your great wonders, each day before
you come to gather us............
love to all from your sister,,,,,,,,,Arlene
