Dear Doves,

I've been a regular visitor to the fivedoves website since 2001 and a
student of bible prophecy for fifteen years.  I've only posted a couple of
times, but have learned much as I have scoured the internet to understand as
much as a I can about the times we live in.  My interest has ebbed and
flowed at various times, but I cannot remember anytime when I was more
excited about watching the stage of history as I am now.

The event which triggered my current interest is my reading of the ebook
"The Hidden Truth about the End Times" by Sal Smario of www.chn-net.com and
his conclusion that King Abdullah II of Jordan is most likely the "little
horn" of Daniel 7:8.  If you haven't read it, I highly recommend you take a
look.

King Abdullah fufills the characteristics that I have been expecting to see
in antichrist...a capable diplomat, a successful, charasmatic young man in
the world of international politics whose "look is more stout than his
fellows" (Dan 7:20) and is effectively working towards a peace treaty
between Israel and the Arab world.  There is a clear building momentum
toward this outcome and every week there are news reports of his work on the
peace process.

Will we soon be able to say with certainty that the son of lawlessness has
been revealed (2 Thess 2:3)?  I'm starting to grow confident that we will.
And if that is the case, then surely our redemption draweth nigh (Lk 21:25).
