Marilyn Agee has a photo on her website from the Hubble that was taken of a large cross-shaped object in the center of the whirlpool galaxy.  Here is the site:

What I found so beautiful about this photo is that the cross-object actually looks like a figure of Jesus. More "signs of the times". Amazing!
