AN INSTANT MIRACLE BY JESUS

About 25 years ago, I had a cousin that had terminal cancer.
Her sister took care of her in the evening, when she was not
at her daytime job; and a lady came in during the daytime and
took care of her.

I had written to my cousin about different things and I told her
that we would pray for her.

She was such a dear person and my wife liked her very much;
In fact she was one of my wife's brides mates at our wedding.
Even though she was dying, she answered me with such a very
nice letter.

Some time later there was a FGBM meeting at our chapter;
and Ida and I attended as I was a member of the organization.
Chester Smith was our speaker and Ida asked me to go up and have
Chester to pray for Marjorie, my dying cousin.  I told her that she is
so near death that it was really no use.  (Thank God that I had a wife
that was more of a believer than I, at that time.  She finally brought
me very close to Jesus; I thank Him for giving me a such a wonderful wife for almost 57 years, before she passed on).  Well, I went up to
Chester Smith and told him that I would like to have him pray for my
cousin that was dying of cancer.

All he said was, "Your cousin is completely healed".  He didn't say anything else and he just went to the next person in line, as if nothing wonderful had happened.  I told my wife what he told me, which was very little.  She just said, "Well, praise the Lord!"

My mother and my aunt, my cousin's mother, would talk to each other on the phone often.  The very next morning after the FGBM meeting the evening before, she called my mother and said that my cousin was out of bed and vacuuming her house.   Needless to say, my mother immediately let my wife and I know about the miracle.  From that day on, she was healed of cancer and lived many more years.

(Chester Smith is a real man of God.  Years ago he was a Country Western singer and guitar player.   He then got into the TV business.  Today he has several TV stations in California.  Lately he teamed up with Merle Haggard and they are making Country Western 'Gospel' records.
