I support my President's foreign policy decisions because he was duly elected according to the Constitution of my country. Privately, I do not always agree with those decisions. I have had a means by which I may have publicly effected a change if I so choose - an election.
I had little agreement with my previous President's foreign policies, but I supported them because the alternative would have resulted in what we are experiencing today - a divided nation working against itself by exposing its underbelly to its enemies during a time of war. I find this a dangerous road toward self-destruction.
Furthermore, as Christians we must all remember that God is in control and things are not always as they seem.
