Dear Len,

Revelations show us there are horses in heaven. They seem to have a purpose - to bring the saints to earth at the Second Coming. If horses, why not dogs?

Humans throughout history have had a special relationship with dogs. They too seem to have a purpose. They offer unconditional love to their masters and, most times, bring out the best in human nature. I, personally, see no reason why God would disallow us their companionship in heaven.

I, too, lost my German Shepherd Dog to old age. It was last November and I still miss my "Lily".
But I have a youngster, a 10 month old GSD who has lifted the spirits of my lonely 12 year old GSD and found a soft spot in my heart. He helps to fill the void.
