Weird, weird coincidences:
Twelve years ago this July, 21 fragments of Comet Shoemaker-Levy hit Jupiter
(July 16th-22nd). What made that especially weird was that July 16 was the 9th
of Av, the Jewish national day of mourning. (both temples destroyed on that
date, Jews expelled from Spain that date, many other things), at 11:11
Jerusalem time.

discovered that the first fragment of Shoemaker-Levy hit at exactly 4:11 p.m.
eastern time, or 11:11 p.m. Jerusalem time, July 16, exactly five hours into the
9th of Av. That brief overlap, he states, "is a very poignant one to remember
war and destruction."

(I just found that from Googling it. I know nothing about the site. There are
many, many sites that say that July 16, 1994 was the 9th of Av, but this one
also makes the point that it was 11:11)

When I take the twelve years (12, Biblically almost always refers to Israel)
and make it 12 years of 360 days each, guess where you wind up?

Now, that's an interesting coincidence! First, it's the day that Israel
became a nation. Second, it's smack dab in the center of the current comet passing.

The coincidences don't stop there, either. This comet is supposed to return
in 5.4 years, apparently. I calculated that out, and using 5-11 as a start date
(when one fragment comes close), I wind up with Saturday, October 1, 2011.
This comet will take a number of days to pass, and if I had chosen May 9, I
would wind up exactly on the 1st of Tishri, the Feast of Trumpets. The following
ten days after that are known to the Jews as the "Days of Awe," which end with
Yom Kippur, "Judgment Day." (Oct 8 in 2011). A few days after that is the
Feast of Tabernacles. Interesting timing.

(.4 years = 4.8 months. 0.8 months = 24 days)

The May 14 date seems amazing to me. I have no idea what it means - just that
that is one strange "coincidence." Like too weird to be completely
meaningless. Not only is that the anniversary of the creation of modern Israel, but
right in the middle of the current comet. So, the first comet that fragmented and
the now the second comet that fragmented are seeming to be somehow linked. I
guess I'm saying that - perhaps - they are meant to be signs of some kind.

Fewer years, and the 360-day year would work out to be after May 14. More
years, and it would be before May 14. (More time for the 5-day difference from a
solar year to build up). Only exactly 12 - the number in the Bible for Israel
- brings it to May 14, 2006.

Luk 21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and
pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the
waves roaring;

I haven't seen anyone else who made the two comet connection, so I thought
