In Daniel 3, King Neb sets up an image of gold in Dura, in the province of Babylon.  The Middle East.  He gathers the princes, governors, captains, judges, treasurers, counselors, sheriffs, and all rulers to the dedication and the commandment given;

 

To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages, that at that time that ye hear the sound of the horn, pipe, lyre, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of music, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar, the king, hath set up; and whoever falleth not down and worshipeth, shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

 

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, the Jews in the captivity, wouldn't do so and were cast into the furnace, but saved by Jesus.

 

In Revelation 13 we have a similair call to worship an image;

 

And he hath power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

 

Muslims fall to the ground 5 times a day to worship Allah, a false god.  First a call, in the form of song, is made from the mosque and then all fall down to worship.  They fall facing Mecca, specifically the rock that is set up in the Kabala.  The rock is an idol.  Historically Islam demanded this worship and killed those that wouldn't convert and worship the rock.

 

When the Islamic Antichrist and False Prophet arise to power, they will change the direction of worship to their "living, breathing" idol and demand that the worship be directed toward this image.

 

This will also take place in the Middle East, Babylon.

 

And all that won't do so will be killed.

 

But then Jesus will come back to save once again.
