Many of us think we have God and His ways all figured out!  But we forget that God's ways are not our ways.  His ways are higher than our ways.  There is so much that we just DON'T understand.  We must give God room to be God.

Deborah, I totally agree with you.  We need to learn to give God room to be GOD!  As watchers for our Lord's return, we get excited and naturally hope for each feast day.  I know I do, but I also realize His appointed time ( mo`ed ) could come at any time.  As you said our ways our not HIS ways.  I respect anyone who shares the golden nuggets found in His Word.  But, I have a real problem with sites that try to sell God packaged in a box. He's GOD, He can do whatever He wants (!!!)--He wrote the book; we're only the students!  Our Lord taught us to be humble servants, and I feel we need to remember our position in Him. That's why I appreciate the wisdom imparted to us through John Tng's many articles, as well as others like Richard McGough and Eric and many others who can show mathematically the truth and majesty of God's Word.  We are blessed to have so many wise servants who freely share their wisdom, teachings and insight with us.  I have recently been experiencing total awe of the majesty, splendor, supreme royalty and holiness of God that we as humans cannot yet even begin to comprehend. 

 

  Isa 45:5   I [am] the LORD, and [there is] none else, [there is] no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:

  Isa 45:6   That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that [there is] none beside me. I [am] the LORD, and [there is] none else.

  Isa 45:7   I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these [things].

Isa 45:8   Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.

  Isa 45:9   Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! [Let] the potsherd [strive] with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?

 

I still think His return will be on a Feast day, but the rapture could come at any time.  The rapture is hidden so Satan will again fail in his attempt to thwart God's perfect plan. But, I have no fear, for I know that HE is in total control of ALL, and His plan will be perfect! Personally, if things get a bit quiet it just adds to the magnificence and awesomeness of the great blasting of the shofars that I hope we will soon hear calling us to meet our Lord and King!!!
