RE: 120

greetings to all Fivedoves,

in the fivedove letters from Saturday, May 27, 2006 there was twice mentioned „120 days” (...left in 5766!” /...until Rosh Hashanah 5767”)

1) Cyrus : WHAT  IF IT COMES TO PASS? http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/may2006/cyrus527.htm (...thank you!)

2) Daniel Matson: „120 Days?“ http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/may2006/danielm527.htm (...thank you!)

i marvelled when i read those letters, because the Day of Ascension (May 25) just behind us,

and the Day of Pentecost (“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place...”) just ahead...

and here already mentioned and counting to another “date” : Rosh Hashanah (Feast of Trumpets).

Well, “...that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.” isn’t?

Now, on Sunday morning at our local church we had the centennial of our trombones choir.

The Scriptures reading (to my surprise) was from:

2 Chronicles Chapter 5:

Verse 11

And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy [place]: (for all the priests [that were] present were sanctified, [and] did not [then] wait by course:

Verse 12

Also the Levites [which were] the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, [being] arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:)

Verse 13

It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers [were] as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up [their] voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, [saying], For [he is] good; for his mercy [endureth] for ever: that [then] the house was filled with a cloud, [even] the house of the LORD;

Verse 14

So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God.

Wow, amazing: there it was again : “hundred and twenty”  (priests sounding with)  “trumpets..”

Praise the Lord!

Amen, yes!:

“Therefore comfort one another with these words:

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

(1 Thess 4:18, 16 + 17)

and let us be at one place, one accord:

“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting...”

(Acts 2: 1+2)

and let us pray: Come Lord Jesus!

Behold, he cometh with clouds...”

(Rev 1:8)

Behold, I come quickly...“

(Rev 22:7)
