"Be his friend"
I have to finish a thought. I just shared a letter
here re a dream of a wounded fawn. However I did not share the conclusion.
The answer to the dilemma of this wounded fawn who had quite difficult
opposing views, yet who was a lonely christian brother was this. Be his
friend. Forget about all the worldly stuff and go to the heart of the matter.
Wounded people strike out yet they still seek someone who will accept them.
God told us to love yet we tell him who we feel comfortable loving. We
can't have much of a fellowship with God when we don't yield to him. We
can't enjoy the higher places in the spirit with the great views if we
do not allow ourselves to see things his way. His way is not to focus on
ourselves but the needs of others, even if they are inconvenient to us.
Because if we do not do it because it is inconvenient to us that means
we are focused on ourselves. Jesus did not live for himself but others.
This is the way to fellowship with Christ. This is the way of peace and
feeling the presence of the Lord.
Forgive me as I talk to myself. But I think there are
a few here who would agree.
God bless
