"John The Revelator: Part 1"
Hi John & All:
This is a further expansion on my work regarding the 7/43 factor, namely that, as per my timeline, the Jews are always in control of Jerusalem for a period of years that is a multiple of 43, and are out of Jerusalem for a period of years that is a multiple of 7 … and that further to this … a generation is in fact 50 years.
In Control of Jerusalem
Out of Jerusalem
860 Years
20 x 43
70 Years
10 x 7
473 Years
11 x 43
1897 Years
271 x 7
The fact these two numbers play such a prominent role in relation to the Jews and God’s covenant land, is not surprising, given that their sum (43 + 7), totals 50, which is the timeblock by which God instructed the Jews to mark their time while in the land:
“And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years
unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space
of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee
forty and nine years.
Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee
to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month,
in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet
sound throughout all your land.
And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim
liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants
thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall
return every man unto his possession, and ye shall
return every man unto his family.”
- Leviticus 25: 8-10
Which now brings us to the beloved, Apostle John. We can see how the same 7/43 factors are prominently revealed through his writings. The Gospel of John displays the most intimate details concerning the life and ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ, and in particular, the final days leading up to His crucifixion.
Unlike the Gospels of Matthew and Mark, which specifically make reference to the two days prior to the death of our Lord Jesus, and the Gospel of Luke, which makes no specific time-frame reference at all, the Gospel of John refers to a much longer period:
“Then Jesus six days before the passover came
to Bethany, where Lazarus was which had been
dead, whom he raised from the dead.”
- John 12: 1
We know that, according to Exodus 12: 1-6, the passover lamb is sacrificed in the evening of the 14th day of the 1st month (Nisan). Therefore we have a clear picture, from the Gospel of John of the final seven days of our Lord, as follows:
Month
Days
Total
1st (Nisan)
8-9-10-11-12-13-14
7 days
It was on the evening of the 14th day of the 1st month (Nisan) that our Lord Jesus Christ made the ultimate sacrifice and was “cut-off” as Daniel 9: 26 describes. So we can see the death of the Messiah is the dividing point between two distinct periods of time, of which the second culminates with His ascension into Heaven.
Month Days Event Total1st (Nisan)

In the grave.
3 Days
1st (Nisan)
2nd (Iyar)18-29
1-28On earth after
Resurrection.40 Days
43 Days
The pre-crucifixion days total 7, and the post-crucifixion days total 43 in number! An amazing display of the 7/43 pattern.
In fact there is a further such pattern if we mark the ascension of our Lord as the second timeframe divider:
Month
Days
Event
Total
2nd (Iyar)
3rd (Sivan)29-30
1-2-3-4-5Ascension to Pentecost
7 Days
Similarly, the pre-ascension days total 43 (outlined above), while the post-ascension days (as shown here), total 7 in number!
Digging a little deeper into the writings of the Apostle John, we note that he contributed five books to the New Testament, which are outlined in my chart below:
Major Writings
Minor Writings
Gospel of John
1 John
Book of Revelation
2 John
3 John
As noted above, the Gospel of John and Book of Revelation should be considered John’s major works, while the Epistles are his minor works, and thus have I divided them. But a surprising element pops up, when we expand upon these divisions:
Major Works
Chapters
Minor Works
Chapters
Gospel of John
21
1 John
5
Revelation
22
2 John

3 John

For the third time, we see the amazing 7/43 breakdown! But there is yet further evidence to expose, and I will continue my study on “John The Revelator” in part two.
See ya in the air,
Eric
