Israel To Keep Prophet´s Burial Site

(IsraelNN.com) Jerusalem District commander Ilan Franko told the rabbi of the Western Wall Thursday that the burial site of the prophet Samuel (Neve Shmuel) will not be a victim of the government's withdrawal program. The tomb is located just outside the Jerusalem city limits, northwest of the capital.

He told Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz that the site would remain within the separation barrier. Thousands of people are expected to visit the burial site Friday, the anniversary of the prophet's death.
