"Jesus was not raptured on a Jewish Feast Day"

A thought came strongly to me over night.

Jesus was not raptured (Ascended) on a Jewish Feast Day.

Many of us think we have God and His ways all figured out!  But we forget that God's ways are not our ways.  His ways are higher than our ways.  There is so much that we just DON'T understand.  We must give God room to be God.

We must remember the doctrine of Immanency.  The Rapture of the Church can happen at any time.  It does NOT have to happen on a Jewish Feast Day.

Its wise to be actively watching for His return for us.  But we error to pin too much hope on certain days of the year.  We must be ready ALWAYS......because when we think not THEN He will come SUDDENLY!

When the time is "right" He will keep His promise to us.......He won't be a minute too late!

Our God is truly an Awesome God!

PS: One more thought.  I don't know if it is just me, but it seems that the crescendo of events pointing to the imminent fulfillment of the nuclear war of Ezekiel 38/39 and our impending rapture.....seem to have slowed or stalled.  Earlier in the year, I was nearly fainting over one horrendous and unbelievable event hitting after another (Sharon's demise, Hamas landslide victory, Olmert's rush to put Israel into further danger, Iranian threats to annihilate Israel, the Iranian oil bourse, etc.)  But, now in recent weeks it seems as though that locked step procession toward worldwide disaster has stopped or been stalled.  A lull in the storm.......or the quiet before the storm.  It reminds me of the pause in heaven before the severest judgments began.......although I know we are no where near that point in time.  The wicked continue to find new ways to be wicked.....its all so predictable......and I seem numb toward it now.  It makes me wonder if God has intervened and halted things temporarily.   Or is this the proverbial hush before the storm?   Has anyone else noticed this?
