Genesis 5:21-24
And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: [22] And Enoch
walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years,
and begat sons and daughters: [23] And all the days of Enoch were three
hundred sixty and five years: [24] And Enoch walked with God: and
he was not; for God took him.
We know
all that is written is for our learning...which by the way embraces the
meaning of Enoch's name, namely "teaching."
Rom
15:4
| For whatsoever things were written aforetime were
written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the
scriptures might have hope. |
And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah
-his spiritual walk, 300 years. The number 300 stand for
the Spirit of God.

Enoch's
name also mean commencement. I have to wonder if Our Lord didn't
simply spell things out for us through Enoch, His prophet, who is our
rapture example, (our blessed hope). Could it be this simple?
I submit this for your discernment:
And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:
65
And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five
years: the exact number of days in our modern year.YEARS
If
we apply this to what we know of Jesus' commencement of all things,
the re-establishment of Israel in her land, by the parable of the fig
tree;
Mar 13:28
| Now learn a parable
of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth
leaves, ye know that summer is near: |
| |
So ye in like manner,
when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh,
[even] at the doors. |
|
Verily I say unto
you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be
done. |
| Sgs
2:13 |
The fig tree putteth
forth her green figs, and the vines [with] the tender grape give a [good]
smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away. |
| Hag
2:19 |
Is the seed yet in
the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate,
and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: from this day will I
bless [you]. |
Could
the scripture of Enoch be hinting of our blessed hope?
