Rev. 8 seems to be describing a devastation on one-third of the world that can only be caused by all-out nuclear exchange, yet the blazing huge mountain and a great star like a torch seem to be asteroid hitting earth.

Is it possible that asteroid strikes would immediately followed by nuclear exchange?

Revelation 8:8-11

Meteros might cause great devastations and kill millions, yet nuclear exchange can kill billions and destroy the planet. Will the TV movie "Without Warning" interestingly and coincidently become prophetic?

Comet 73P/Schwassmann-Wachmann broke into three major pieces in 1995. The major pieces are also breaking into numerous smaller pieces just in the last few weeks. It might be passing the earth very closely. If some pieces hit earth, metero showers migh follow. The whole world might plunge into total chaos, radar screens might show confusion, tensions between Russia and USA might be even higher,.... Suddenly,.... only God knows what happens next.
