Regarding animals in Heaven.  The Bible speaks of riding on horses and chariots driven by horses etc..  So there must be horses in Heaven.
Also Jack Van Impe www.jvim.com has a VHS called "Animals in Heaven" that you can get through his website.  I have not seen it but it should give you some answers.
