Thanks for everyone's replies.  I especially liked the Hitler analogies.
 
After reading them and thinking about it, I've come to a definite conclusion.  I'm convinced that the answer is yes, he will know full well his prophetic identity because he was indeed born evil, based on a few details given in Revelation about the Beast I see.  I'll compose an article and put it on my site asap.
 
I do wonder, however, if HaSatan really can possess anyone as is assumed will happen to the Antichrist (it never indicates such that I see)?  There is no Biblical record of an angel possessing anyone although many examples of demons doing the same exist in the Bible.  Many do not realize that there is a difference between an angel and a demon.  A demon is a disembodied spirit from a nephilim, which is the offspring from a woman and an angel (according to Genesis 6).
