I'd appreciate opinions (preferably with scriptural support, but if you don't have that, ideas off the top of your head would be fine too) on the following question:

Will the Antichrist know that he (or she or it) is the antichrist? In other words, will it be a purely evil person, or is there a possibility that he will be merely a (very) misguided soul?
