When the Curse Devours the Earth
 
  "Behold, the Lord maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants there of." ISA 24:1
 
  "Because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant." ISA 24:5
 
  "Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth they that dwell there in are desolate: therefore the in habitants of the earth are burned, and few men left." ISA 24:6
 
  Verse one and six describes the great tribulation as in Ezekiel 38:20-22, Joel 2:1-11 and ISA 2:10-22. Verse five begins the seven year tribulation.
 
  Who are they in verse five and six?
 
  When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever. Psalm 92:7. The wicked are they who transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance and broken the everlasting covenant.  They have no fear of God as described in Psalm 36:1, 3 "The transgression of the wicked said within my heart that there is no fear God before my eyes.  The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and do good."
 
  Through pride the wicked forgot God, and will not seek after God nor consider Him in their thoughts.  They have no fear of God.
 
  King Solomon wrote "Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely  I know that it shall be well with him that fear God, which fear before him:  But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days which are as a shadow: because he feareth not before God."  Ecclesiastes 8: 11-14
 
  My personal revelation of the fear of God is that God is almighty powerful, and without Him you are nothing. 
 
 Why the curse devours the earth the beginning of the seven year tribulation. ISA 24:5
 
  1.  They have transgressed the laws:  Sin is the transgression of the law, and the wicked shall be turned in to hell, and all the people that forgot God.  1 John 3:4, Psalm 9:17.  To reject God is the only transgression of the law that will send you to the great white throne to be judged. 2nd Thessalonians 2:10-12; Rev. 20:11-15
 
  2.  They have changed the ordinance:  The order of Gods creation of man and woman is to become one together to procreate life.  Romans 1:26-27 "Women who changed the natural use that which is against nature. Likewise  men leaving the natural use of woman burned in lust toward another; men with men."
 Same sex married God forbid, religions that forbid to marry defiles the ordinance of God, Paul calls this a doctrine of devils in1 Timothy 4:1-3.
 
  3.  They have broken the everlasting covenant:  Hebrews 13:20 "Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the everlasting covenant."
 
  They have broken the everlasting covenant between God and mankind for they have denied Jesus the Christ the Son of God.  The natural Jew and his religion has sacrificed the blood of beast.
 
  Daniel 9:27 "And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and oblation of cease."
 
  He is the prince of the world system- the many are world leaders- the subject covenant with Israel- a week is seven years- the midst of three and a half years- the offering of sacrifice the blood of beast. 
 
 The seven year covenant begins the tribulation for the Lord said he would judge his people in Hebrews 10:29-30 "Of how much surer punishment, suppose ye, shall be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and counted the blood of the covenant, when with he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Sprit of Grace? For one know him that hath said, vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, said the Lord.  And again, the Lord shall judge his people."
 
  The judgment of Gods chosen people the Jews and his Jewish religion.  There is a spiritual Israel the righteousness of God by faith in Christ Jesus.  A natural Israel the self righteous who by there own works deny the truth and love of God.  Romans 10:3-10.Therefore, natural Israel and the gentile nations are judged during the seven years of tribulation.  ISA 26:19-21
 
  The prince of this world system hides behind the cloak of the religion, the throne of pride.  The vain works manifested power, greed, selfishness, ambition, and pleasure all in the name of religion, science and culture. When they spring forth as the grass, and these workers of iniquity flourish through the seed of evil doers (Satan) has gathered his children to the slaughter ISA 14:20-21.  Those who claim we are children of God are only those who have faith in Christ Jesus Galatians 3: 26, Matthew 13: 37-43.
 
  When the curse devours the earth the faithful in Christ will have been translated for we are redeemed from the curse of the law.  Galatians 3:13.  For the Lord has said "The righteous are taken away from the evil to come."
