"Desert Flowers"

This was sent to me by a friend, and I thought it was a great "Part 2" to the news article I sent to the doves awhile back entitled, "The Desert Blooms."  In that article flowers were blooming in the desert (Jubilee Pass) for the first time in 50 years.  After unusually heavy winter rains, the deserts of the southwest burst into unexpected bloom.  Well, this past winter, they had six inches of rain in some places - more than three times a normal entire year's worth of rain.  This is the east side of the Carrizo plain, in the Temblor Range, about 50 miles due west of Bakersfield, (wherever that is).

This is just breathtaking!  Our God is an awesome God!!!
