Jesus said: "Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors" (Matthew 24:32-33, KJV).In my back yard I have a very young fig tree, given to me last year as a gift from an organic farmer acquaintance.
Just this week, this young fig tree put forth its leaves. Summer is nigh.
In 1967, 38 years ago, Israel, the biblical fig tree, put forth its leaves and assumed control over Jerusalem, the Temple Mount, the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and the Golan Heights.
...likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors...
