"Cat's dreams"

Cat, I sent my letter about the dreams to four Christian friends, and here are their replies:

 1. I too have had dreams where I am in high school but I am always looking for something that is not important like my purse and just need to tell someone something I think is important and it is not. I know I have tried to tell my family over in St. Louis about the rapture even sending them books about it but it doesn't seem to do any good. So I think I need to just let it go and be ready to leave in the rapture because they will have to find out for themselves. You can only try for so long and that is it. My sister has some mental problems and her husband and kids are into drugs etc. My other brother and his family just don't talk about it. So I just tell myself let go and let God.

  2. I, too have had dreams about high school. Being in class, and not getting it "right" before I knew a test was coming. Also I dreamed once that it was the LAST day of my high school and I was cleaning out my desk to prepare for GRADUATION. When I felt a "presence" [angel, or God maybe?] ushering me and I felt compelled by this presence to "HURRY".....leave the books, papers, etc. behind.

  3. Wow!  I have the SAME dream about school!!  Walking around the halls,  can't find my class.  Can't find my locker.  Weird dreams about High School.  I've been out for 25 years and I still dream it too.

  4. Ellen, I realize that you are talking about a dream in which you are unprepared, but in real life when you were in school did you always study in advance for your tests, or did you leave until the last minute and just study the night before?  Just wondering!

The last one I gave this answer to:

I rarely had to study. I was an A-B student, and subjects were not too difficult for me, even Spanish. College was a bit different, as I goofed off a lot, skipped a lot of classes and actually did put off things until the last minute.

But the dreams were always about high school,  and at times they even involved the school bus coming and I was late and hurrying to catch it before it left me behind. These dreams usually came at a time when I had something in real life that was giving me anxiety, such as a job to finish by a certain deadline, etc., so I dismissed it as that. But now I wonder if they were not for another reason.
