God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, have many names. I know that the God of the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, is not the author of confusion. I do not think He is offended if we call Him by one of His many names. My parents named me Ellen, which is what my family and American friends call me, but my husband and all my Mexican friends call me Elena, and my sons call me Mom. I respond to all of them with love.
