"Coincidence or Not?"

I'm and Australian too.  I noticed that also and commented on it to my husband about the apocalyptic focus of the movies this month.  "Kingdom of Heaven" opens at the movies on.....wait for it..... the 5th of May.

My husband and I began to watch the silly movie Sunday night , "Second Coming"... it was all garbage.  Of course I wasn't naive enough to expect that any of these films will/would portray the Biblical story of end times, but it still upsets me so much that the world so deeply hates our Lord, and think it funny to mock Him in that way (and Christians for that a lesser matter).

I was angry and cried that it was so blasphemous and mocking of who the Son of God really is, and we turned it off.  My husband turned the telly back on just at the end before "compass" came on and saw the ending of the film.  The girlfirend of the man who claimed to be the Son of God decided that the only way the world could return to peace was that the "son of god" had to be killed.  The character of the messiah was a smoking, drunkard, swearing, fornicator as well.  As if a messiah would be anything like the character they showed .  Who would want a messiah like that?  That is part of the humanist message of today...eliminate religion and Yeshua and we will have peace.

My husband and I ended the evening in prayer and in the Word, that really brought me peace.  We don't watch much telly other than documentaries, and world news, though watching a bit of the movie personally gave me  insight into the minds of the world (YUCK!)...and I don't want to look too often!

Sadly, when the Lord does return to the earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, it will blow the world  away (so to speak), and their puny attempts as script writers and filmmakers will be utterly put to shame, because His glory and power will be more than they ever imagined.

Interesting that directly after the "second coming" movie, ABC's "Compass" aired a show about the new political party in Australia called Family First Party...(who are all AOG members, but they don't want to acknowledge they are a christian party...)the ABC in Australia definelty has a humanist agenda (like most of the world). I don't think that it was accidentally scheduled either.
