  (Everyone should read and study the Bible for themselves to see where their doctrine doesn't agree with Bible scripture and to see what things in their church doctrine are not based on a Bible scripture.  No believer should want to unite with the Catholic church since they have false doctrine in their church, including spending time in purgatory as if the blood of Jesus Christ wasn't enough to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.)
 
  1 John 1:5  ¶This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
6  If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8  ¶If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10  If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
 (The Catholic Church's doctrine adds things to the gospel that aren't in the Bible which turns it into another gospel.)
 
  Galatians 1:6  ¶I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7  Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8  But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9  As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
 
  (When Pope Benedictine XVI was a just Cardinal overseeing the Catholic doctrine, I didn't read about him helping to correct false Catholic doctrine, such as purgatory, and salvation by works.  Also while he was reading and studying the Bible, why didn't he see that the Catholic doctrine on forbidding priests to marry and the Catholics obstaining from meat (every Friday) was something that the Bible spoke against in the following scripture?)
 
  Timothy 4:1  ¶Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2  Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3  Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
4  For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
5  For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
