Something odd is going on.

For the last 4 months, my wife and I have been planning for a 40th Anniversary vacation trip on June 25th. Our usual method is to invite the Holy Spirit in on the decision making for trips. We want the trip to be a blessing and not cursing.  We have done this in the past and we have had some really wild vacation trips and blessings. We also do this when we buy a house or car.

 We cannot come up with a trip that Holy Spirit gives approval of.  We like to drive on trips and we thought a month out West would be nice (we live in Ohio) or maybe Nova Scotia where the tides are 40 feet deep; but no matter where we plan, there is no confirmation from Holy Spirit. (Our spirits are not at peace.) It has been completely frustrating to the point that we have not came up with a new proposal for weeks now.

Then today I caught the new Aussie Bloke posting of a meteor hitting the Earth on June 12th and was also thinking about the prophets who cannot see past 2012 and it hit me. Maybe we aren’t getting info from Holy Spirit because we will not need a vacation trip.

Pretty wild thinking, but that is what I thought.
 
I’m not suggesting that Aussie Bloke is right. I’m just saying that Holy Spirit is not giving us an OK because we shouldn’t or won’t need to go on a vacation trip.
