JUST A THOUGHTI was reading a Dove post today, and was reminded that the Jewish calendar has a first month in Tishrei (fall).......
But they also have a first month in Nisan (spring).
The first month in the spring is their "religious" year, whereas the first year in the fall is the first month of their "civil" year.
Hhhhmmmm.....Jesus came as the suffering servant in the first month of the "religious" year, thus fulfilling the spring (religious) aspects of his TWO comings.
His second coming then (to the earth), will fulfill the fall or ("civil") implications of this part of the Jewish calendar. Civil means just what it does for us - government, political, taxes (ugh...) etc. SOoooo..................Jesus will actually return during the fall feasts to SET UP HIS KINGDOM, and begin its administration (no taxes) :--), thus fulfilling His coming in POWER (government and political).
My son and I went round and round the other day about something which we really didn't satisfactorily answer, and that is that when Jesus came the first time, His fulfillment of the spring feasts came all together within a month or two. So, we thought that His coming the second time would happen the same way,,,,that is, that all the feasts would be fulfilling within a couple months, just, actually, as the spring feasts were fulfilled. BUT would that mean these fall feasts will be fulfilled at the BEGINNING of the tribulation or the END of the tribulation (or even wrath). We chewed on this for awhile, and thought that Israel at first is going to be blind-sided by the a/c, and thinking they were being given peace, etc., until the covenant is broken and the deceit is revealed to them. It will be when the Jews actually "see Him whom they pierced" and mourn, that the
Feast of Attonement is realized, and this doesn't happen until He comes with His feet touching the Mt. of Olives (Zecharia). After He returns with the saints to fight the last great battle, is when He will come in POWER and great glory. My son thinks that boom, boom, boom, all the feasts will be realized THEN, at the end of the judgment years within a couple-month period. If these feasts were "realized" just after the rapture, then how could the world, including the Jews who will chose "another" messiah, believe the great "lie", and fall for the great delusion?
Would love to hear some thoughts on this, Doves...........

It just occurred to me that what John saw after the "come up hither" call, was the 24 elders in heaven. This number 24 means "complete government", and so, it is the beginning of the setting up of His Kingdom. These elders have crowns whereas the un-numberable crowd seen at the later rapture only have robes, and these robes were washed by themselves in the blood of the Lamb, not given to them. The bride's white linen gown is the "righteousness of the saints", and it was GIVEN her to have this white gown, she didn't wash it herself in His blood, like the great crowd in heaven. Laodecians have to "buy" the white gown not have it given to them.
Anyway, it seems logical that the government or Kingdom will have some amount of time to get set up and get going and perhaps this is one of the things we will be doing in heaven; that is, learning what our "jobs" will be...(I can miter bedsheet corners real well), and getting those "civil" types of things accomplished, as well as celebrate the bridal things that are going on which the foollish virgins apparently miss out on....
We are told that the Lord will "finish" what he began to author in us (Hebrews), so if we are going to have white gowns given to us, and any of us have any crowns, then it seems logical that this will take place during this time too. Also the 24 elders (and the living beasts, which MAY represent in some way raptured saints - don't hold me to that one) say they have been "redeemed" from among all the nations, tonges etc., so they are from both Jew and gentile groups / nations, and not just Israel, nor just the prophets and apostles which I can understand are the 24 elders, but where are the other "nations / tongues" who say they HAVE been redeemed and will become priests and kings? They have to be somewhere up there besides the 24 elders or they couldn't say that........
Need to go make some beds.
