The "Philadelphia" church, consisting of true believers is kept from the
Tribulation Period, however, the "Laodician" church, consisting of those
who have never been born again, will be left to face the wrath of God.
We might liken the five wise virgins and the five foolish virgins in the
same way.  Only God knows the number who will be taken at the Rapture,
but those who are truly born again will be taken.  "God has not
appointed us to wrath."  (1 Thess. 5:9).  Rather than trying to
determine how many will be taken, we should be trying to taken as many
with us as we can.  What a marvelous future we have!
