On May 23 our Granddaughter is having a Graduation/Dedication to the Lord.
She is 13 years old her and her Sunday school class that is 11 all together who have faithfully attended Wed. and Sunday class are being dedicated to the Lord. They are having a Graduation in first service then in second service they receive their rewards then in the Evening service the Church and there family members pray over them and dedicate them to the Lord.
The kids at this point are given a gift from the parents. Our Granddaughter is getting an Amethyst ring as a promise ring. The kids are promising to keep themselves pure and Holy till Jesus comes to take them home or until he gives them a Godly partner.
I know it all sounds ritualistic, but I think its great to lead our kids into Holiness and to help them keep away from worldly lusts and to make Jesus the most important thing in their lives.

        Any way I just thought this was maybe a shadow of what we may get that day. Maybe she will be dedicated to Jesus face to face that day.
That would be totally awesome!
I pray we are counted worthy through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
