"Thank You John J. & Patrick"

I was going to conclude my thoughts on the Spirit of God and our near future, but did not have time to send a letter Thursday. When I read John J's letter on Friday, he said exactly that I was thinking! I think we are all pretty close to being on the same page regarding this subject, but perhaps the semantics of both the messages being received today, and my explanation of it, make it seem we are of differing opinions.

Certainly it is not a greater thing that God is or will do in our times. The measure of His Spirit in our lives is really up to us. If we are faithful and keep His Word, always trusting in Him to lead us, we will shine brightly in the soon coming darkness. I have been trying to thread this message through several of my recent letters. I believe the promise to keep us from the hour of temptation is directly related to this.

In the beginning of the Church, Peter himself made claim to Joel's prophesy when he proclaimed:

Acts 2:14-21 ..."Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words. For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: 'And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy. I will show wonders in heaven above And signs in the earth beneath: Blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved." [NKJV]
I believe the messages we are hearing on this subject today are related to a similar experience occurring in our time of the very end of the "last days"; likely brought on as a result of the times that are just upon us.

Thank you Lord for your wonderful Word, and the brothers in Christ in which you have allowed me the opportunity to discuss your Word and learn more about you. I pray thatYou will continue to reveal Yourself to us through every avenue possible, including John Tng's website; one of the only sites we can freely share our thoughts without the burden of a specific doctrinal belief created by man. Continue to fill us with your knowledge so that we are ready for anything the future may hold. Thank you Lord, Amen.
