Hi Joe,
This kind of ties in with the thoughts you were having in your post. I just carried it "one step further".

Subject: The upcoming election
Will the 2004 presidential election be suspended due to something "unforeseen" and thus bringing about martial law?
I will share some thoughts I have had for a few days now. We see the inquiry of Sec. Gen. Donald Rumsfeld on live t.v. for the past day or so, as well as see the Iraqi Abuse Scandal dominating the news now for a week. The timing seems curious to me. (Not that I defend these soldiers actions). However, this has been reportedly going on for almost a year now. I have been watching the news lately and on the ticker at the bottom of the screen, the past couple days the Stock Market has dropped drastically. In the past, all it took to "dive" was a rumor or a new tape of Osama Bin Laden. Now this latest scandal, has increased even more our unpopularity in the Muslim nations as well as the world.
I came across a thread on a discussion board about Hilary Clinton. You can read what she has to say http://www.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2004/2/1/132047.shtml
I had been thinking already that the ECONOMY is the METHOD that the LORD will probably judge because of our "part of Israeli Land for Peace".
Now, I am no prophet. But I am not dumb either. I have a good friend, who knows a former Joint Chief of Staff (who also was awarded the Purple Heart in Vietnam) who told her that martial law was going to be imposed upon us this year due to some major "crisis" and that the 2004 Pres. Elections would probably not even take place.
I think the "CRISIS" just might be a "PLANNED ECONOMIC COLLAPSE" to usher us into the NWO.
I remembered an article that I saw and filed in my favorites awhile back.

Are these all coincidences? I think not. I recommend that we all tighten our spending and buy only things necessary for everyday living. Get short term debts paid off, as much as possible and do not go into debt.
And keep looking up. Our redemption draws nigh.
