By coming directly towards us, Sirius creates an axis of rotation with Earth relative to the stellar background. Because of this, of all the stars in the sky, only the annual heliacal rising of Sirius exactly matches the length of our solar year, 365.25 days.
The Ancient Egyptians were somehow aware of this unique relationship between our system and Sirius and marked the heliacal rising of Sirius as the first day of their calendar year.
Even today, unbeknownst to most of the people of the world, our News Years Eve celebration is a continuation of a most ancient ritual honoring the return of Sirius to the midheaven position at midnight. Sirius B traces an elliptical orbit around Sirius A, and their common center of gravity, directly face onto the Earth like the dial of a clock. Taking 50 years to complete their orbit, the period of closest connection, called the periastron, is a time when the radiated energies of these two great stars is especially intense.
Sirius B spins on it's axis at an incredible 23 times a minute ( 23 rpm!!), generating an enormous magnetic field. As it approaches periastron, it begins to pull huge amounts of gas and material away from its less dense companion.
The gravitational attraction of these stars for each other and the energies they release at this time of closest communion is difficult, if not impossible for the human mind to comprehend.
Vast amounts of electromagnetic radiation, including visible light, ultraviolet, X-rays, gamma rays and beyond, are thrown into space. The extra gas and material Sirius A provides for her companion re-ignite fusion reactions within Sirius B, and once again, her eternal lover, now blazing brightly, is reborn.
As Sirius B moves past periastron, the light generated by their shared energies begins to diminish until eventually, it resumes its role as her "Dark Companion".
As Robert Temple has shown in his book "The Sirius Mystery", the Ancient Egyptians were aware of Sirius B and the orbital dynamics of the Sirian system in predynastic times, before 3200 BC. Modern astronomy did not discover these facts until over five thousand years later, in 1862.
Did you see the references of our relationship to Christ. The 23 rpm's reminded me of the 23rd. Just the fact that the stars annual rising is exactly 365.25 days is just too much! And that both stars face the earth constantly like the face of a clock! Is this a clue from the Creator of these objects! I believe so. It takes "50 years" to complete an orbit, to me is a clue to a Grand Jubille. How about Sirius returns to a midheaven position at midnight and we all jump for joy! And people have been practicing this for years without knowing the "hidden reason"! There are others but I'm sure you get the message. You also need to go to the web site and see the picture of the two stars and post it. It has "7 rays" of light coming off of it and Sirius B is at the 8:00 position. I definately think this star is a time marker.

This conjunction of Mars and Saturn is of particular interest since it occurs on the same evening that Comet LINEAR T7 crosses the path of Comet Neat Q4 in Canis Major near the star Sirius.Again, see the Jan/Feb 2004 issue of BA for further info and charts on the two comets.The timing of these two events in the same sign (Gemini) is just impeccable.There is definitely no shortage of signs in the month of May 2004.Taking all of these events into consideration and the timing involved, these are not just signs, these are GREAT SIGNS in the heavens.We shall see what we shall see.
One more thing. I believe the "T7" in the comets name is a clue for "7 thunders". And "Q4" could be a clue for 2004 or Revelation 4 (open door) or 4am in the "4th" watch in the night. Like it says above, we shall wait and see.

Yes! a good one, to May 22,23 (Sivan 3, 5764). Thank you
for sending this information to me. It made me go back and pull out the
Zodiac picture included in F. Chris Patrick's "Zodiac Conspiracy." On it
I had written down the dates of several signs we have had in the heavens.
It was an eye-opener.
Think
back. THE WISE MEN WATCHED FOR A STAR when the Christ child came the first
time. In our days, were THE WISE VIRGINS TO WATCH FOR A STAR? I think so.
In
1999, THE NEW STAR, NOVA VELORUM, APPEARED ON Pentecost, Sivan 7, which
was MAY 22. That might be the clincher.
At
6 PM on May 22, 2004, Sivan 3 begins. Six hours later, at midnight, our
May 23 begins. That just could be the night we have been waiting so patiently
for. Nova Velorum was in the sails of the ship ARGO, which means THE COMPANY
OF TRAVELERS. That represents the Bride of Christ. The ship reminds us
of Noah's Ark. The Rapture is as the days of Noah (Mt. 24:37). And oh!
what a story comet BRADFIELD'S path tells. Things do seem to be falling
into place.

147:4 says that the LORD "telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them
all by their names." The Hebrews called this sign, which we call Canis
Major, as well as the main star SIRIUS, THE PRINCE (i.e., Christ). It should
be shown as a prince on his throne. The Egyptian name for this sign is
SEIR, THE PRINCE. The second brightest star in this sign is an Arabic name,
MIRZAM, THE PRINCE. Another star is the Arabic SHIRA AL JEMENIYA, THE PRINCE
OF THE RIGHT HAND, which is Christ.
In
Isa. 9:6, Jesus is called "the PRINCE of peace." Dan. 8:25 calls Him "the
PRINCE OF PRINCES." No wonder God made Sirius the brightest star in the
sky.
I noticed that in the Jan/Feb 04 edition of Biblical Astronomy, Bob Wadsworth said, "There is a lack of any foreseeable significant celestial events in the months of January through March.The heavens are very quiet as far as special events." That makes the May events stand out as special. In the May issue, he said, "It is quite rare for three comets of such magnitude to come to their closest approach to the earth within a one-month period.It appears that the draught is over."
I could be wrong, but so far, the night of May 22/23 seems
to be a good bet for the Rapture. Jesus was resurrected on Sunday night,
which started at 6 PM Saturday. Maybe the dead in Christ will also be resurrected
between 6 PM next Saturday night and 6 PM Sunday morning (Jerusalem time).
Some saints "came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into
the holy city, and appeared unto many" (Mt. 27:53).

the LORD; and he inclined (bent down) unto me, and heard my cry. He brought
me up also out of an horrible pit (as when Jeremiah was brought out of

he hath put a new song (sung by the saints in Rev. 5:9) in my mouth, even

will come into conjunction (same celestial longitude) on May 24, 2004 in
the constellation Thaumim (Gemini)."
The
eagle is significant. Ex. 19:4 says, "I bare you on EAGLES' WINGS, AND
BROUGHT YOU UNTO MYSELF." This is the first I knew that comet LINEAR would
cross the path of comet NEAT at the same time that Saturn and Mars will
be in the closest conjuction in Gemini on the 24th. The growing evidence
is building a good case for the Rapture on May 22/23, when the Moon joins
Saturn and Mars in Gemini (the twins). Saturn and Mars are very close on
that day too. Canis Major is a Decan of Gemini. Each constellation in the
zodiac has three decans that help tell the Gospel in the Stars.
The Moon is closest
to them on May 22 and 23. By the 24th, the Moon is moving into Cancer.
The Moon may be showing us the date, for Sivan 3 is our May 22/23.
To have two comets in our sky on May 22,23 is significant.
Comet NEAT will be overhead when the Moon visits Mars and Saturn in Gemini
on the 22nd. Their paths cross in Canis Major near the ship Argo, the company
of travelers, i.e., the Bride of Christ. In some pictures, the ship Argo
has a depiction of the face of Christ just above the waterline and a Ram's
head above on the prow.
Not only was the new star,
Nova Velorum in VELA, the sails of the ship ARGO, on May 22, 1999, the
double anchor sign was seen in VELA on June 9, 2000. The Double Anchor
means hope in the Eastern Orthodox Church. (Pictures are near the bottom

At 6 PM Saturday, May 22, 2004, Sivan 3, 5761, begins,
the date when the Lord came down on Mt. Sinai, and there were "thunders"
and "THE VOICE OF THE TRUMPET EXCEEDING LOUD" (Ex. 19:16). This is the
first trump of God of the Bible. I think it represents the FIRST TRUMP
at the Pre-Trib Rapture (I Thess. 4:13-18).
There will be signs in the Sun, Moon and Constellations
when the Rapture is nigh. Luke 21:25,28 says, "there shall be signs in
the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress
of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring...And when these
things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for
your redemption (i.e., the Rapture) draweth nigh."

NEAT
and LINEAR's paths cross in Canis Major near Sirius and the ship Argo.
Then there is BRADFIELD in Pisces. What a story comet Bradfield tells.
Look at its path.
I think the two fish in Pisces represent the saints and
the two Raptures. At the time of the first Rapture, the foolish virgins
(the larger fish) have to swim back to get more Holy Spirit from Christ,
the water pourer in Aquarius. The smaller fish swimming upward represents
the Bride of Christ going to Heaven in the first Rapture. As she goes up,
the northern fish merges with Andromeda (a Decan of Pisces), the Bride
who is chained to the Rock, and that Rock was Christ. He will take his
Bride on to Heaven. Cepheus (a Decan of Pisces) represents Christ as the
great King sitting on his throne in Heaven. Beside him is Cassiopia, the
Queen (a Decan of Aries, the Ram) completing the picture of the Marriage
of the Lamb.
The
brightest star in Cepheus is the Arabic AL DERAMIN, meaning COMING QUICKLY
AS IN A CIRCLE. It represents Christ, who returns to the Earth. Other stars
are the Arabic AL PHIRK, THE REDEEMER and AL RAI, he who bruises or breaks.
In Hebrew, there are CHEICUS, TO COME IN A CIRCLE, and REGULUS, TREADING
UNDERFOOT.
Andromeda's
ancient name in Hebrew was SIRRA, meaning the chained. A star in Andromeda
is MIZAR, the bound. Another star is named AL MOSEALAH, delivered from
the grave or hell. Boy! that almost says Moses, and I think the date of
the Rapture is told in the account of Moses and the Israelites at Mt. Sinai.
The Decans of Pisces are the Band, Andromeda and Cepheus
(the great king seated on His throne, who has his foot on the North Pole,
because Earth is His footstool. He represents Christ, Lord of lords and
King of kings.
As
the Lamb of God, Christ (Aries) has control of the Band that binds both
fish (wise and foolish virgins) to Him. The ancient Egyptians called the
Band "U-or," HE COMETH. When Christ comes for his Bride,
He will take them up to Heaven, his throne.
In our sky, all thee heavens (II Cor. 12:2, i.e., Mars,
Jupiter and Saturn) revolve around Polaris, the North Star, and the throne
of Cepheus (Christ) circles (ie., orbits) around Polaris as Saturn's orbit
Is outside of Earth's orbit.
Cepheus
is holding aloft in his right hand a fistfull of fabric strips, a sign
that he is a man of the cloth, a religious figure, as well as a king. Cepheus
represents Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords.
Look how the path of comet Bradfield tells the story
of the Rapture. The band attached to Cetus (Satan) is hooked and pulled
free. The northern fish swims up into Andromeda (the Bride chained
to the Rock, Christ) showing that the northern fish and Andromeda represent
the Bride of Cepheus (Christ on his throne in Heaven, Saturn, which orbits
outside of Earth's orbit).
Originally,
there were two ships Argo, depicting the two Raptures. They are described
further by the Decans of Cancer, Ursa Minor (originally the Minor Sheepfold,
i.e., the Good Shephard's sheep of the Pre-Trib Rapture) and Ursa Major
(the Major Sheepfold, the great multitude of the Pre-Wrath Rapture; Rev.
7:9).
All
three comets have a story to tell, if we have eyes to see. The LORD has
planned their paths among the constellations.
I
hope the May 22 date of the NEW STAR, NOVA VELORUM, will turn out to be
