A Clear and Present Danger in America- Jan Markell
Let me open by saying that what terrifies the world should not shake the true believer. Having said that, we now have "storm warnings" hovering over America as terrorists plot and scheme to rain on our many parades this summer and fall. The umpteen warnings we've had before have caused Americans to go to sleep, and likely until disaster strikes, we will not take these alerts very seriously. Give us a break. We're entering our season of play-summer-so don't confuse us with the negative facts.
When Al-Qaida blew up a Spanish train a few months ago and threw an election I wrote about it and warned that the same could happen here. That resulted in an extreme leftist being elected-actually a socialist in Spain. He got Spain out of Iraq and the war on terror. Score one for terrorism! On Wednesday John Ashcroft and FBI Director Mueller told America they believe a major strike is likely this summer or fall, and the purpose may be to throw our election.
The terrorists want to get a hawkish president out of office and get in an administration that will not go after them in caves, hide-outs, and distant God-forsaken lands. Then the Islamofascists can conquer more of the free world and bring it back to the 7th Century. To be frank and to the point, radical Islam wants President Bush out of office. Many guests on my radio show who are in the know have repeated this sentiment. They want a dove in office who will smoke a peace pipe with them and let them do their dirty work.
The liberals of our land are underplaying our war on terror for political reasons. As my radio guest Gary Aldrich, former FBI agent, recently stated on my program, the liberals have been hijacked by the "hard left" as he calls them. They do not think rationally. They only think of regaining power even at the expense of the safety of our great land. Liberalism is their religion, their creed, their calling. Just go view the sermon Al Gore gave on Wednesday. He screamed at his audience of hard-core leftists at New York University. He railed against conservatives. Remember, he was just a heartbeat away from the presidency under Bill Clinton and just a few hanging chads away from the job in 2000.
In the middle of our war on terror and on the same day Homeland Security warned us that al-Qaida has completed 90% of the work necessary to attack us again, he chose to call for the resignations of our entire national security leadership. It was under Clinton-Gore that our security agencies were stripped of manpower and money. As Gary Bauer says, "Was there not one advisor, confidant, or family member who could not have said to him, 'Not now Al-not when America is in the cross-hairs, not when we may be on the cusp of an attack using biological or chemical weapons?'"
The chatter being picked up says that we will be "astonished" at this next attack that is forthcoming. September 11 will pale in comparison. Significant targets include the G8 summit June 8-10 in Georgia, the Democratic National Convention July 26-29 in Boston, the GOP Convention in New York August 30-September 2, and significant holidays like July 4-a symbol of democracy.

There are also some excellent news articles there on how we actually COULD win our war on terror. We must scrap diversity, tolerance, and political correctness and step up the racial profiling. Questionable characters need to be shipped back to their Islamic homelands. Borders need to be sealed. The "religion of peace" must be seen for what it really is. People are calling me telling me they have friends who don't even believe Nick Berg was decapitated. If you want to view it, let me know and I'll send you to the sites. Every leftist should see it. There's an old saying: Know your enemy. Don't cozy up to him as some want to do and have sympathy for the devil. Tough talk, I know. Sensitive people should NOT view it. And it would scar children for life.
God is still in control and His patience with America is unbelievable. We do not deserve it. I believe the "righteous remnant" make a huge difference in America so may our numbers increase. If you will go out and win the lost while there is still time, maybe they will.
