Hello Marie,you wrote:

I was wondering who exactly is the enemy within the US that  you are refering to.

Dear Jeff,

The phrase 'the enemy within ' came into my consciousness as the result of a book by this title, written by Michael Savage. You can find it on the WorldNetDaily web site.

In my opinion, we have many enemies within our country, tearing the nation apart from the inside. First are the godless -  the secular humanists who worship themselves. They see themselves as gods in the image of man revealing to us, subservient mushrooms, the liberating wisdoms of the universe. Second are the deceived - deceived by their schools that truth is relative and by their churches  that God is tolerant. Many of these would risk the destruction of the nation for the sake of power. Or rights. Or their perverse perceptions of 'negotiated' freedom.

Finally, there are the unaware -  focused, for whatever reason, only on their daily survival, and those in denial - cowards who prefer to live in an alternate reality of their own making. They are the 'enemy within' by default - ready to be exploited, expendable, and harvested for fodder.

I am convinced America is at the decisive moment of its history. We, who call ourselves Christians and watch for the rapture, tend to distance ourselves from the events playing out before our eyes because we hope not to be here for the worst of them. Does it really matter to us what happens to whom during the tribulation? I propose that it should. For the sake of the saints that will experience hell on earth, we need to voice and fight for the values of our fathers: God Country Honor Duty, so that they may be better prepared to occupy and to overcome until the Lord God Almighty returns.

Thomas Jefferson's words come to mind: " . . . The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure."
