"Re: Paul Wilson"

Paul Wilson ask about seeing coffins on israeli TV
IN Israel the normal way of burial is in burial wraps much like in the
Christ time.  The Israeli army always buries  soldiers in  coffins. Some
places like Kibbutzim and moshaves {farming villages} bury in their
cemeteries in wooden coffins. Coffins are generally used when there has been
to much damage to the body to allow a regular burial.

Israel TV had a unspoken rule that discourages the showing of scenes of
extreme violence. Israel also makes it a rule not to show the victims of
terrorism who have be seriously injured in bomb attacks at the time of the
attack. There  have are been several very hot debates about this unspoken
rule that both the TV and the newspapers general obey. This un spoken rule
is a way to protect the privacy of a person in an unfortunate situation.
