1) Yes, I've seen a trailer for the movie "THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW"; and read a review on it the other night.
2) Yes, I can definitely see it as being a foreshadow of things to come in terms of so called natural disasters.
The key to having a series of such events bunched together would be a sudden pole shift, as mentioned in Isaiah or Jeremiah or somewhere or another over there, that skips my mind right now.
All I know is that I want no part of being involved with an "attraction" like that from the Lord God. <G>
