SUBJECT: The Order of Melchizedek brings God's two end-time agendas for Israel and the Church into confluence and unity under Messiah.

Dear John and Doves,

As we come into the arena of the last days of this age we are looking for the soon coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Much information is sitting in the scriptures that give us valuable clues in these matters. One important subject that may at first appear unrelated to the end-time events is that of Melchizedek. He was an ancient priest-king over Salem, (or Jerusalem), back 4,000 ago in the time of our patriarch Abraham. But he is more than ancient history. We are told that Jesus our Messiah will be after the Order of Melchizedek. If that is the case we can expect Him to fulfill both the priestly and kingdom offices. In His priestly office he is regathering a lost humanity from across the world using the Church. But in His second agenda He will regather and restore the Kingdom of Israel. In fact He will restore both houses of Israel. If we study this through the scriptures we come to some amazing conclusions. The destiny of the Church and the destiny of Israel will come into confluence together at the very end of the age. All this will happen at the climax of the Holy Spirit outpouring which Joel prophesied in Joel 2. Joel saw this blow-out grand finale of the Holy Spirit being poured out over mankind in the context of the sixth seal cosmic disturbances of a darkened sun and bloody moon. This is very late. God will apparently be doing some wonderful and epic things in the last 7 years of this age both in Israel and in the Church.
