"neatness demons, cluttered mind"

Well neatness demons would only apply to a few, but cluttered mind would be more common. A neatness demon would be one that drives one to obsess with cleaning to the point of closing out communion with the Holy Spirit. Can't go to church cause I have so much to do, everything is such a mess. It causes distraction of the mind to avoid dealing with situations that are causing us conflict and helps us keep them in the unresolved categories. When we have a problem with  a neatness demon you can be sure we have a cluttered mind, one that can not concentrate on one thing for very long and that continually switches subjects. It is a spirit that robs us of fulfilling our desire to have close fellowship with God. Lets face it, we Christians will have battles as long as we are in this flesh, some more than others. We have to fight when we don't really want to. Laziness overtakes us and we would rather clean then deal with pain or take authority over a stronghold. That is why they call it a stronghold, pesky persistent little critters that try to appear to us as giants.

So if you have the same problem don't be discouraged. We confess then we believe for God's deliverance, because it is already there, we just have to learn to trust in it. We have the victory over these mental strongholds. They really are spirits. The Lord said my word is spirit and we receive it in our spirit through our mind. That also means that other spirits have access. When a thought contradicts the word, it is a spirit that has a stronghold or is trying to establish a stronghold that will take down your faith. If we can recognize that we can use God's word against it. The more we do it the easier it becomes. We can take on critical spirits also that isolate us from fellowship and prevent us from loving our brothers. A critical spirit has pride as its master. The Holy Spirits love is humble and does not strive for superiority over others. If our thoughts belittle our thoughts are out of fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit, create in us a clean heart, give us victory and wisdom over the things that rob us of fellowship.
Amen.

God bless
