  First of all a big thank you to Joe Hoyle and Donna Danna for bringing up this interesting topic. After reading some of the stuff available I have a question on it though, if someone would be able to enlighten my noggin.
 
  It seems to me to be very difficult to stage a fake rapture prior to the real thing.  The problem with this appears rather obvious (I think) -- How would they know when to stage it?
 
  None of us -- at this point -- know when the real rapture is going to take place. So if they did stage a rapture, and this wasn't the final generation, they'd be firing their cannon for nothing, and certainly the anti-christ wouldn't be able to appear.  Even if this is (as I believe), the final generation, they still wouldn't know when the real rapture was... in 1 day or 20 years.  Know what I mean?  Kind of a timing problem.
 
  The other question is: What kind of an affect would a fake rapture have, if the world has been already devastated by the real one?  For example, the Christians they sought to deceive would have already been gone.
 
  Anyways... just some questions.
