"To Paul Wilson"

Paul,
Sometimes I wonder at the level of perception in this country.  What
you told us is so way out.  One of the things kids need most is a
positive relationship with a male.  Too few males seem able to give and
receive natural affection.  You are so needed.
I can understand on the other hand that with the escalation of evil,
especially the sexual predatory kind against children why schools need
to be vigilant but vigilance does not mean make snap judgments.
It seems people don't trust their instincts anymore but react to the
prevailing emotional current.  I would think the teachers could
accurately assess your intentions.  At the very least, give you a chance
and say that for "appearances sake" distance yourself more from them.
I can tell you that having taught ten years in the ghetto in the Bronx
that affection was definitely needed and I never turned away a child
that showed it. I also realize that the issue is more sensitive for a
male teacher than for a female one.
Just remember God will use this to put you in the place in His design
for you.
As part of the Body of Christ I feel with you at the injustice and
offer what little consolation I can.
Your sister in Christ,
Eleanor Tremblett
