"Shabbat Shavuot!"

Shalom All:

In the past I could not understand the link to an event in Acts 2 - especially v. 19 & 20 which I've highlighted.  But could that reference be for this Shavuot and "the rest of the story" will be fulfilled early Sunday morning - like after midnight?  I don't remember any sun darkness or moon blood at the first Shavuot.  Could that be for this Shavuot?

from Acts 2:14-21
Peter addresses the crowd (on the morning of Shavuot, after the "night watch".)
Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd:
"Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say.  These men are not drunk, as you suppose.  It's only nine in the morning!  No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

'In the last days, GOD says,
I will pour out My Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreasm.
Even on My Servants, both men and women,
I will pour out My Spirit in those days.
and they will prophesy.
I will show wonders in the heaven above and signs on the earth below,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and glorious day of The LORD.
And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.

This coming evening our family will celebrate/observe Sabbath.  We will have matzah for our bread, and unwatered wine just as we had at Pesach for the last cup.  Then on Saturday evening we will have our Shavuot meal.  And from that Saturday evening to Sunday morning we will spend the night "watching"!  Who knows but that this will be the time of our Call?!

Even so come quickly/suddenly, Yeshua, our Beloved Kinsman Redeemer!

your sister in Yeshua!

p.s.  The items for Shavuot are still at our personal site.  Monday, if we are still here ... and the net still works ... I'll remove the items and prepare for the fall feasts.  But I'm so hoping this is it!
