I found it interesting the words used by the angel in describing the churches
of today in the following "A View from Heaven". He said, "When the Spirit
leaves these places, the pastors and prophets do not even realize it."

A View From Heaven

“It is written that man must repent and turn from his and her wicked ways,
only then will God once again heal the land. (2 Chron. 7:14) The amount
of power any church has in spiritual warfare is directly related to the condition
of the lives of the people within it.” As the angel waved his arm across
the planet, he said, “See man has built temples unto their flesh. Man
says God will come and dwell in these buildings, they have not understood
that God no longer dwells in a building, but in the hearts of men. Most of
these buildings are full of the flesh, but empty of the Holy Spirit. They were
built for the comfort and pleasure of the flesh of men, not for God. Man
has become the authority in the churches, not God. God’s churches are
nearly all run by boards and political decisions. When God does pour His
Spirit out on some places, but quickly, man starts taking the glory. When
the Spirit leaves these places, the pastors and prophets do not even
realize it. They continue on ministering in the flesh with signs and wonders
from the flesh, not from God. Look, some are even putting on programs of
healing instead of taking healing to the streets and hospitals like Jesus did.
Some won’t even touch those in wheel chairs because they know they don’t
have the power to heal them.” Then he said again, “Let us look at the Church.”

There are MANY, MANY today whose love has grown "cold"...and they "really"
don't realize THAT either. The scriptures tell us PLAINLY:

Romans 5
5 And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love
into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

I have heard Joyce Meyer say that "LOVE" is a spiritual "FORCE" of protection.
That is because IT "IS" THE HOLY SPIRIT!!! When these churches on and on
and on CONTINUE to deny the POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT that is LOVE
...it can have a "SEARING" effect and it's no wonder the condition they are in.

1 Timothy 4
1Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall
depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron

In an earlier post, I mentioned that I had run into a friend of mine who had left
her church because her invalid husband had gotten TRAMPLED by 2 deacons
in a hurry to leave the church after Sunday morning services. She (a good,
faithful tithing member) left the church and told the pastor "Why?".

Perhaps the reason we have SO MANY false prophets and false churches today
IS THE LACK OF LOVE. Note the location of the following "love" verses comes
after this warning:

1 John 4
1Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are
of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus
Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the
flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have
heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
4Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater
is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
5They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world
heareth them.
6We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God
heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
7Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that
loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
8He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Just because someone smiles and "ACTS" like they love you doesn't mean that
they do. Another thing Joyce Meyer said was that she was "tired" of having
friends or associates who "REALLY" didn't care for her spiritually. They were just
in the relationship to see what "they" could get out of it...NOT REALLY LOVE!!!

I am seeing signs of "change" in certain people in my life who you used to could
count on...they had your best interest at heart when they said something to you...
but now?????????? The lyrics from an old Jim Reeves song seem to say it ALL:

I Won't Mention It Again
I feel my life has reached an early sign of autumn
In my heart the leaves are falling love is cold
And everything that once was warm and new is gone now
Leaving nothing but this hunger in my soul
But I won't mention it again...
