Dear DonnaWhile I do not know you or your husband, Lee, I have respected and
appreciated your postings on 5Doves. As we get closer and closer to going home, we
experience a longing that grows each day. Your days walking through the shadow
will be lifted by the power of the One that brings internal peace for which no
other substitute can approach to meeting the pains of loss and grief. I pray
that as you and Lee walk through these difficult days, globally and personally,
that God will empower you with an abundance of His love.As a watcher on this site for over five years, I have enjoyed your posts to
supplement my own reading and background for my Sunday messages. God bless you
and Lee and I have no doubt that God will bless in ways you don't often think
about. I have walked the road of the dark night of the soul. My first wife
died of Huntingdon's Disease fifteen years ago and I went from being a
millionaire in business to decimated financially as a result of a client bankruptcy.
I lost my home that I had personally built, my business, and my wife in just
two short years.Despite it all, God carried me in ways I could not have done for myself.
Keep the faith and remember the Blessed Hope. Hope in Hebrew connotates "sure
thing" and even in the darkest hour, we have something greater than gold!Baruch HaShem,
Pastor Bob Reid
